Billing, Insurance and Credit Information

Our business office representatives are available during office hours to assist you with any questions you may have about your bill. We strongly encourage you to bring any special needs to our attention. Our central business office telephone number is (903) 739-2700 extension 0. We are here to help you with your billing questions.

On every visit to the Paris Cardiology Center please bring your insurance cards withyou. When checking in please provide the staff with any changes that have occurred to your account. Our office participates with Medicare and will bill Medicare for the services we provide for you. As a courtesy, we will bill your insurance secondary to Medicare. Our office participates with many managed care plans in the area. Please be sure to bring any co-payment requirements and deductible with you at the time of visit so we may properly settle your account. Before a procedure is done, we require the estimated amount insurance states is patient responsibility. If patient is unable to pay total amount due, we require 20% of that amount up front.

Should your insurance carrier withhold payment or partial payment of our claim for any reason, we will be glad to assist you in obtaining an explanation from them. The Paris Cardiology Center can not guarantee payment of your claim, we can only give you an estimate of what we are told at the time we call to verify your insurance. We can not be responsible for negotiating fees or claims with insurance companies or any other entity. Patients are responsible for payment of medical care within a reasonable time, regardless of status of the claim. If circumstances warrant an extended payment plan, the business office representative is available to assist you with such arrangements. Please contact the office prior to your appointment. You will receive a monthly statement showing all charges up to and including the current month. These statements will cover all services provided both in our office and at the hospital by our physician. All patients with a current balance will continue to receive monthly statements until the account is cleared.

Please note: claimes filed to Medicare do not appear on your statement until Medicare has paid their portion of your charge(s). Any balance remaining after Medicare has paid, will be the responsibility of the patient or supplemental insurance company, if applicable.
